Good evening from Moncton, N B... Just got back from having a bite to eat and had a very interesting, and good, salad... Thought I would share... The salad included oven roasted root vegetables.. Maybe you guys already use this as a different slant but this one is new to me... The root veggies were oven roasted in, olive oil, which were cubed carrots, turnips and beets... The lettuce part was a spring lettuce combination tossed with a shallot dressing... I didn't taste onion, but it was really good... With the holidaze coming and all that left over turkey and gravy, this salad with be such a nice compliment for a hot turkey sandwich... Thought you might find this one interesting, sure was good... bon appetit... h
